My Sarcastic Turtle

I wanted to paint my house. My turtle said he would help. I joked and said, "No thanks, if you help it'll be slow going!" 

I thought my joke was funny. My turtle did not.

 

 

My turtle took all the paint and covered me with it. Then he grinned and told me my jokes were now colorful. After that he went inside and watched cartoons for the rest of the day.

 

Now when my turtle offers to help me paint I just hand him a paint brush and keep my mouth shut.
